Studying at the London College of Communication (LCC)? Our Pimlico student accommodation offers easy access to campus, with great transport links to get you there in minutes. Whether you’re diving into design, media, or journalism, our fully furnished studios give you a quiet, stylish space to reset, recharge and research your subject, right in the heart of London.
London College of Communication, part of University of the Arts London, is a hub for creatives—offering world-class courses in media, design, and communications. Located in Elephant and Castle, LCC attracts students from across the globe and has helped shape the careers of some pretty big names—including Jefferson Hack (founder of Dazed & Confused), Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter's Ginny Weasley) and Charles Saatchi (co-founder of advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi).
The campus sits just opposite Elephant & Castle underground station, so getting to class couldn’t be easier. Our Pimlico building is the closest accommodation option and gets you to campus in under 20 minutes by tube. Prefer walking or cycling? You’ll enjoy a scenic route through the city’s green pockets and vibrant high streets.
Living near LCC means you’ll have plenty to explore outside of lectures, too. Elephant and Castle is packed with international food spots, quirky cafés, music venues, and green spaces, including Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park and Burgess Park—ideal for recharging between projects.
It’s super quick! From Pimlico station, you can take the Victoria line to Oxford Circus, then switch to the Bakerloo line to Elephant & Castle—getting you to campus in under 20 minutes door to door. Buses and cycle routes are also reliable and scenic alternatives. And if you choose one of our studios in another area of London like Bloomsbury or Hampstead, you can still hop on a tube and get to classes in plenty of time.
Yep! Many of our student tenants are international or on short-term programmes, so we offer flexible tenancy lengths. Just get in touch and we’ll help you find a contract that fits your course schedule.
Every studio comes with the essentials, including a bed, desk, storage, and kitchenette. It’s ready for you to move straight in, making settling in much easier, whether it’s your first year in London or you’re coming back for another. We’d recommend bringing a few home comforts to make the space feel more like home quickly but we’ve got the rest covered.
Definitely! We always recommend students come and take a look at our studios so you can get a real feel for the space, the area, and meet our friendly team before making a commitment. It’s a great way to make sure the accommodation is right for you and don’t have any surprises on move-in day!
Your rent covers all the essentials: gas, electricity, water, and internet — so no surprise bills. Maintenance is also included, so if anything needs fixing, you’re covered. It’s a straightforward setup that makes budgeting simpler, giving you one less thing to worry about so you can focus on smashing your studies.
