West Kensington is one of London’s best-kept secrets. The area between Fulham, Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith is a prime location for students looking to move to London.
The historic area dates back to the 17th century, and many of that era’s buildings are still standing. With the Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace and the Royal Albert Hall nearby, there’s plenty to explore and learn.
Imperial College London is also close by, making West Kensington an excellent place for students to live. Not only does the area have plenty of libraries and museums but the transport links to get around the capital are excellent.
West Kensington underground station is on the District Line, but nearby Earls Court station is on the Piccadilly line, which goes to London Heathrow in less than 40 minutes. There’s also a range of bus services that go to all areas of London.
For students looking to explore in the sunshine, there are lots of green spaces nearby. The famous Holland Park is within walking distance and is great for exercise, long walks and relaxing with friends.
