The neighbourhood is full of independent cafés, perfect for morning coffee runs or study sessions. Need a break? Stroll through Holland Park, explore the high-end shops on Kensington High Street, or grab dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby. And when the weekend rolls around, you’ll have easy access to London’s best nightlife, theatres, and cultural spots.
Our Fairholme Road (West Kensington) and Penywern Road (Earl’s Court) properties are both less than a 20-minute walk from AIU, so you can enjoy a short, stress-free commute. Plus, with multiple tube lines nearby, you’ll have quick connections to Central London, making it easy to explore the city whenever you like.
Living in Earl’s Court or West Kensington means you’re well connected to the Circle, District, and Piccadilly lines, making it easy to reach AIU London and the rest of the city. Walking or cycling are also great options, especially since AIU is just a short stroll away from our studios. If you're heading further afield, bus routes and bike-sharing stations are right outside your door.

Whether you’re grabbing coffee at an independent café, catching up on coursework in a quiet bookshop, or exploring fashion and design boutiques, there’s plenty to do between classes. It’s ready for you to move straight in, making settling in much easier, whether it’s your first year in London or you’re coming back for another. We’d recommend bringing a few home comforts to make the space feel more like home quickly but we’ve got the rest covered.
